Hello and welcome! The Cheshire School of Jewellery was established in 2019 and is a fully equipped jewellery workshop in the heart of the Cheshire countryside.  It is a lovely peaceful setting offering a range of jewellery making courses suitable for a range of abilities including one off sessions where you can make your own piece of jewellery to take home with you. Also available are longer courses that enable students to gain a more in-depth knowledge of silver smithing and jewellery making.  In addition,  courses in precious metal clay, resin and beaded jewellery are also available. 

All courses are taught by the studio owner Lisa Taylor and have a maximum of 8-10 students per session.  Lisa is a fully qualified and experienced teacher having gained a PGCE at Wrexham University, completing a year long teacher training placement within the jewellery department at the university. In addition Lisa also gained a B.A Hon's and M.A in Applied art with jewellery specialism.  She is enhanced DBS checked, a member of the Society for Education and Training and a practicing artist. Lisa is also a member of the Guild of Jewellery Designers with over 14 years experience of working with silver clay and silversmithing and has been creating beaded jewellery for over 25 year.
