Service Description

PLEASE NOTE: This workshop is better suited to those with some silver soldering experience (not with a soldering iron) and prior silver smithing experience. We don't do a copper practice on this workshop and move straight to silver. However I have had plenty of beginners attending this session so it is not essential to have previous experience just recommend, but please be aware there is lots of soldering work during this class. You will make a ring or halo pendant from silver wire before creating the bezel setting for either a small gemstone, dichroic glass cabochon or sea glass. The bezel is created from scratch using bezel strip and silver sheet to create the setting for your chosen stone. This is then soldered onto the ring or a bail attached before finally setting a stone/glass of your choice. Silver and small stones/sea glass are provided however please feel free to bring your own stone/sea glass if you have something you want to use.
