Service Description

Jewellery making 6 week course Thursday 6.00 - 9.00 pm This course is suitable for beginners of returning students. Beginners will start with using copper, each week you will learn basic techniques of jewellery making such as how to anneal metal, filing, forming, cutting metal with a piercing saw, adding texture and soldering. You will then start working with silver and make a bezel set ring (either stone or sea glass). Silver and stones for this will be supplied along with lots of copper for practicing each technique. Returning students can undertake a tube setting project if they wish and set their own projects for the rest of the course. Silver for tube setting is provided but any additional silver for individual projects must be purchased by the student. Lots of tea and coffee is also provided (Regular and decaf)
