Spinner ring workshop 10 - 4 pm (finish time is approximate) This workshop is a slight variation of the current spinner ring workshop however on this session you can add a spinner using gold filled or rose gold filled wire if you like. Spinner rings are a little more technically advanced than other rings and soldering gold filled materials is also a little more challenging so previous experience is recommended for this session. We will begin by practicing some texturing techniques before adding your chosen texture to your silver to create the main part of your ring. Once the main part of your ring is made you can then add either 1 or 2 spinners from a selection of designs including gold filled or rose gold filled wire or you can choose to stick to all sterling silver if you don't want to use any gold filled materials. There will be a choice of styles such as beaded wire, plain round wire which you can texture if you wish or you can also create a waved ring. There are a number of combinations you can choose from when it comes to the spinners (this is the ring that spins around the main band) - 1 x beaded wire (gold fill or rose gold fill ) 1 x silver beaded design plus 1 silver plain 1 x simple silver design plus 1 x simple gold fill/rose gold fill designs (plain wire, textured or a wave design) 2 x simple silver designs you can add a maximum of 2 spinners but you can just add 1 if you wish. If you are a beginner I would advise keeping it as simple as possible so that you have time to perfect the individual components of your design. This a a good session for soldering practice and using a saw.
