*New Format * U.V resin jewellery - During this workshop you will learn how to create jewellery with U.V resin. This type of resin is perfect for small jewellery components and cures within minutes under a U.V light. You can add some colour using mica powder or alcohol inks plus glitter and other inclusions can be added. Designs will mainly be created using pre-made silver plated bezels and I have various shaped bezels for creating pendants, earrings and bracelet links. Some designs can also be created using shallow moulds. I may also have a few gold/rose gold coloured components depending on supplies available at the time but the majority will be silver in colour. You will also get to finish items by adding some jump rings to link up links, add clasps and also add some earring wires to earring links. All components and findings are silver plated (no sterling silver findings/earring wires) and I may have a few gold plated although choices will be limited as the bulk of the supplies are silver plated. Materials supplied - plenty of U.V resin for your creations, pigments, mica powers/glitter and small items to set into resin. Shallow moulds for creating different shapes are also available but please note bangle moulds are too deep for U.V resin so these won't be available. Silver plated jump rings and earring wires for connecting are also supplied. All items will be finished during the class so no need for items to be posted out at a later date like previous resin workshops. This class is suitable for beginners and anyone from age 14 upwards (anyone aged 14 to 16 must attend with an adult also booked onto the course).
