Advanced spinner ring with optional tube setting - 10 - 5 pm  SKILL LEVEL - This workshop is not suitable for a beginner. You should have attended a jewellery making course such as the 10 week beginners or intensive course plus additional practice or attended LOTS of one day workshops and have experienced soldering multiple items. Attending 1 or 2 day workshops would not be enough prior experience for this as there is a lot of skills covered and lots of soldering. This workshop is big step up from the usual spinner ring session and you will create a total of 4 rings, one is the wider base for the ring and this will be kept plain to create a suitable surface for the 3 outer bands. 2 of these will be soldered to the main band to hold the central ring in place and allow it to spin. You can add a tube setting to the central band to add a bit of sparkly. If you choose to add a tube setting, we will use pre-made tube settings rather than creating our own, unless time permits on the day to create one of your own. Stones will be CZ stones. There will be a few options for the outer band including some gallery wires or you can go for a plainer outer band such as square wire. The central band will be D shaped if you opt for a tube set ring or if you decide not to add a tube setting there will be a few other design options that you could choose.
