Service Description

This workshop is a slight variation on the other simple stacking ring sessions with the addition of some gold fill metal. You will make one beaded style ring from either sterling silver or gold filled wire. SKILL LEVEL - beginner to intermediate (a little more technically advanced than other sessions) prior silver soldering experience would be an advantage if you wish to make your ring from one of the gold filled options . We start by making a simple practice ring from round brass or copper wire and then you will repeat the steps shown to make 1 beaded ring from either silver, gold filled or rose gold filled metal. If you choose either of the gold filled metals there will be an additional charge for the wire of about £8 (Gold filled metal has a brass core with a heavy gold plating that is more substantial than regular plating. It is a little more tricky to work with so previous experience would be an advantage for this workshop).
