Service Description

This service is for bench hire only and is a 4 week block booking of 4 consecutive Friday's through November. The session is for a 2 hr slot in the workshop each week for the dates listed. Each session is 1 -3 pm. See below for the full list of dates - Bench Hire is for jewellers who can work independently. This is NOT for complete beginners and it is NOT a taught session. This is for the use of the workshop, tools and equipment only and no materials are provided (you can use things like solder and flux) Jewellers must also provide their own silver/materials for any items they make. There may be an additional charge if you would like to use the kiln or larger gas torches for melting silver/casting. This 4 week block is for the following dates - Friday 7th November Friday 14th November Friday 21st November Friday 28th November Please do not arrive any earlier for your time slot than 5 mins before the start time and please be aware there will be a small class taking place at the same time so students will be present and also using the equipment. There is sufficient room for 6 people to be soldering at any one time. If you are new to the school please check first if there is specific piece of equiptment you would like to use. Please note that there are no alternative days for bench hire so if you are unable to attend one session there is no opportunity to make up that time.
