Service Description

Extra date - This is a special one-off workshop for Christmas. We will cover all the same techniques as we do during the regular enamel workshop with the addition of some pre cut copper blanks with a Christmas theme. You can still make some jewellery though so you are not limited to the decorations. During this workshop you will learn about some basic enameling techniques. In the morning we will test some colours and effects to create some colour samples. Then after lunch we will enamel some pre cut copper blanks to create some Christmas tree ornaments. You can also make a few pieces of jewellery too. You can create/design some simple jewellery by using disc/shape cutters to quickly punch out copper shapes, add holes for stringing and then add some of your chosen colour schemes to your designs. Students with prior experience with saw piercing can cut out their own custom designs. Lots of copper for tests/finished jewellery and some copper decoration blanks will be supplied along with enamel powders and use of tools etc.
