Service Description

Stamped Silver Pebbles - This session is suitable for beginners and is great for learning about ways to use some silver scrap and adding stamped designs. We will start by practicing stamping metal so that you can check out all the design options and create a design for your pebbles. There are lots of designs to choose from including a variety of flowers, leaves, zodiac, yin and yang, various animals, moon and stars, marine themes, hearts and lots more. We will then melt some scrap silver and form into pebble shapes. These are pretty organic and free form so each one will be unique. You will then add your chosen design and solder on some bails before a final polish. You will receive at a total of approximately 6g of sterling silver scrap to melt into either 2 small pebbles to make drop earrings or 1 larger pebble to make a necklace. 1 fine chain or a pair of sterling silver earring wires will also be provided to complete your chosen jewellery. There will be a short 30 minute lunch break during this session so I would recommend bringing lunch with you or pre-ordering from the onsite cafe.
