Simple Stacking Rings This workshop is somewhere in-between the simple/single ring and stacking rings class with design options being simplified. It is perfect if you have never worked with metal and want to try a short taster workshop that isn't too challenging. The idea is to keep it simple with the design, so that you can repeat the process a few times which helps with the leaning process. We will be using 1.5 mm wire for all rings made and we will begin by making 1 ring in either copper or brass. You will then make 2 further rings in a similar design from silver. You can make them look a little different by adding a simple texture with a hammer. I also have several ring making dies that will add a wave design to your rings and I there are a few different wave designs to choose from. You can wave 2 rings and leave one round if you want or vice versa, see the images below for design examples . (please note, we won't be twisting wire or using beaded wire for this session) There will be a short 30 minute break for lunch during this session so I would recommend bringing food with you.
